To the congregation,
Recently I wrote to the Achbishop of Canterbury who I know to be a fan of David Bowie, whose songs I grew up with since high school, and informed him that I was David Bowie, in my painting 'Moonage Daydream'. Revelations speaks about a "dream" but all our reality is merely a dream, and it was real, and will be real. We can only hope we will not be there.
I say the Jean genie (Gene genie) lives on his back (bac). This is a reference to tobacco which was genetically engineered by Jesus. How many people know that God created all the plants and animals, as it says in the bible.
That is not to say that evolution doesn't exist. We know that when an Asian person, and a European have a child, the result is a

mixture of their genes. How many people know, apart from myself, that the first human beings were genetically engineered, and that their parents were Neanderthals, and it was only later that interbreeding happened? Likewise, how many people can claim to have genetically engineered dinosaurs, choosing their shapes and colours, and later did the same with mammals, more than (66) million years ago when the dinosaurs were wiped out by an asteroid more than 10 kilometres high?
It is indeed a privilege as well as a responsibility, and makes one wonder, which came first, the human, or the first human, because you need hands to work in the laboratory.
We have kiwifruit, oranges, pumpkins, spinach, peaches, grapes, and most recently vanilla, which is hard, to think up a new flavour, and design a plant to deliver it. God gave Jesus a free hand, but why did he pick Jesus to do it?
DNA, which Jesus did not tell Pilate about because he wouldn't have understood, is like a long string string of soft spaghetti, or a zip, but is segmented, so that to put the blue colour into a forget-me-not (knot) you

Christ in the House of His Parents - John Everett Millais
(Brian on the left)

He had already sold his father's carpentry/joinery business/shop where they made furniture, and wine barrels, and woven cane baskets and even repaired the doors the Roman tax collectors broke (because there was a law even in those days which said the Romans must pay for their damage) and he made crosses for them. Jesus and his father made the cross which Jesus was going to be crucified on and it was an extra large (tall) one. The picture 'Christ in the House of His Parents,' by John Everett Millais  was one I painted before I was born, and it shows the man who bought the joinery and cabinet making business, Brian Whitmore who I went to school with.
I'm opposed to all genetic engineering because it is very dangerous and we don't need it and it should be illegal. We got on fine without it.
What will happen if work to engineer fleas to be infertile crosses into humans and they become infertile too.  It can happen. Or if genetically engineered maize, which is safe to eat, crosses pollen with our corn, which will then cease to exist. Do we need faster growing corn which requires more water?
Jesus imported tobacco from Turkey and sold pipes made from gum tree nuts. Somebody else took over the business before the Romans caught on.
What will life be like on other galaxies?

(knot) you need a string of genes that fit into the DNA strand, and you have to be able to put them in the right place. It is very complicated because two cells become four, then four become eight, then sixteen, then arm, a heart and brain and eyes must all form from the code.
When I worked for Trevelyans kiwifruit packhouse in 2015 a sign in the canteen said "I never"- or words to that effect "expected to be working here at my age." They are a good employer but still work must be done to make the wages in the industry more realistic.
A painting I have almost finished is one of four taken from Chinese words on  one vase from a group of three. It is the word "Wealth' and the picture is of a volcano, with a golden explosion - in the shape of a spoon? or a kiwifruit, coming from it. To me it looks like a golden kiwifruit. The next word is "Long Life". Imagine long life and wealth without love.
Jesus was wealthy but the Romans stripped him of everything, and even denied him his inheritance, from his mother and hiss father.
