Jesus  and the  woman  of Samaria

1 Jacob's well was there. So Jesus sat down.
3 There came a woman of Samaria to draw H2O.
Jesus said to her, "Give me a drink?"
10 Jesus answered her "If you knew the gift
of God, and who it is that is saying to you,
'Give me a drink?' you would have asked him
and he would have given you living water."
The woman said to him, "Sir, you have nothing to draw
with, and the well is deep; where do you get that
living water?"

To the congregation,
Jesus and the woman of Samaria (at the well.) John 4:1-42.
When he spoke about living water, Jesus was speaking about the word of God.
Who knows what the Samaritan woman was talking about when she said "Sir you have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep, where do you get that living water?" Jesus was simply asking for a drink of water, in the same way in the same way that I am asking the church to pay me some money; (see letter #3), either the money it "owes" me, or the value of one of my paintings, considering that it will double in value.

Jesus said to her, "Go call your husband and come back." "I have no husband," she replied. Jesus said to her "You are right when you say you have no husband. The fact is, you have had five husbands, and the man you now have is not your husband. What you have said is quite true."
19 "Sir," the woman said, "I can see you are a prophet. 20 Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim the place where we must worship in Jerusalem."
Jesus was sitting at (6 Jacob's well was there, and Jesus tired as he was from the journey, sat by the well).
  It was about noon.
25 The woman said "I know that Messiah" (called Christ) "is coming. When he comes he will explain everything to us."
Jesus had already explained everything to her, regarding where and how to worship (21-24) and since he still needed water, she must have reasoned that she had everything she needed, and Jesus had nothing left to bargain with. He said pointedly "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water."
How do you value a painting? Surely it is worth what someone will pay for it, or what the owner will accept for it. What if the painting in question is owned by thee Roman Catholic Church or the Anglican Church, or the Queen, as Head of the Anglican Church, and the owner decides to sell it

My concern is about the Monopoly game and the globalisation  of business. Bill Gates was a billionaire within (two?) a small number of years of his releasing Microsoft DOS 5 Operating System in 1991. We at the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic had a suite of copies the year before in 1990.
I write about this extensively on my web page https://www.rainierbank.net -Starman's pages: my guide to.
DOS 5 was one of the first O/S to include an online HELP even though there was no browser or modem included with the O/S. My price for my JavaScript browser is  £100 per copy, including 20% V.A.T. payable in the U.K. Now the New Zealand government wants to charge another 15% on to of that.
Without my browser, there is no internet banking. No internet whatsoever without my my JavaScript timing system. Microsoft had one, but did not own the software. Perhaps a big an oversight as not having a legal browser at all, despite their distributing "Internet Explorer" illegally, given that Sun Microsystems owned JavaScript which was developed by Netscape. Indeed, where will we get that living water without God?

for a certain amount?
Do we really believe we have nothing new to learn about God?
In my weekly letter #4, I said "No one come to the Father except through me," something Jesus said. Well, do we believe in Jesus? Do we believe in God and do we believe his statement? He went on to say "If you have seen me, you have seen the Father", (God).
(Not, I am God, if you have seen me you have seen God, literally, but rather, 'If you know me you will know God's message to you, and trust me, God is as real as I am, so you can trust me, even if you have doubts.')
Some skeptics, (Phillip), said to him immediately he had told them this, "Show us the Father (God), and it will be enough for us." Did he not understand what Jesus was trying to tell him? Given that Jesus knew that God knows every word  we say, and every word comes from God, Phillip was telling him that he didn't believe in this God.
So the church has told me that they don't actually believe in the same God that I believe in. I don't believe in Satan. There is no supernatural power greater than God, and Jesus specifically spoke about the kingdom divided against itself  (Mark 3:26 "And if Satan has risen up against himself, and is divided, he cannot stand, and has an end."
So what about the word outside the Church? Did God give me anything to sell, apart from the spiritual message that Jesus gave us? How about Mobil oil? Is there a clue there?  More about this in detail later.
