Dear Mr Baker

We refer to your letter of 20 March 2008 and apologise for the delay in responding to you. We have spent some time reviewing your letter and your journal and make the following comments:

1.    The copy of the Crime and Punishment Journal (28 September 2006) you sent us seems incomplete. Can you please provide us with a complete copy?

2.   Please also provide us with proof that you own copyright in the plate. At a minimum we would need to see written consent from Bill Bell assigning copyright of the plate to you. Out of interest, we see that there are a number of identical plates available for sale on ebay. If, as you state, you do own copyright in these plates, you may wish to contact these sellers of these plates to assert your proprietary rights.

Until we receive the above information, we are not in a position to consider your claims further.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully.
